  • We proudly serve all couples, families, & chosen families. Ties & Toasts celebrates love in all its forms & is committed to creating welcoming, affirming, & inclusive experiences for everyone involved.

  • Ties & Toasts is based in Erie, Pennsylvania & serves celebrations throughout the tri-state region. Travel beyond our standard service area may be available upon inquiry, with additional fees applying.

  • For weddings, we recommend reaching out at least 6 months in advance when possible. For life celebrations & private events, availability may be closer to the date, though popular weekends book quickly.

Weddings & Ceremonies Questions

  • We offer fully customized ceremonies that can be secular, spiritual, religious, or a blend of traditions. Our goal is to reflect your values, your story, & the tone you want for your day.

  • Yes. Our officiants are ordained through the Universal Life Church.

    We handle the signing of your marriage license in accordance with your state’s law, and offer complimentary license filing for Erie County, Pennsylvania residents.

  • Absolutely! Vow support is available for couples who want guidance, feedback, or a little extra confidence heading into the ceremony.

  • Yes, rehearsal coordination is included in our wedding officiating packages to ensure everyone feels comfortable & confident going into your big day.

Bartending & Bar Experience Questions

  • No. We do not supply alcohol, but we guide you through exactly what and how much to purchase. Couples & hosts are welcome to reach out with unlimited questions leading up to the event so nothing feels overwhelming or uncertain.

  • Yes - always. Elevated mocktail & non-alcoholic options are thoughtfully included & designed with the same care & presentation as our cocktails, ensuring all guests feel considered & included.

  • Yes. All our bartenders are RAMP-certified & experienced in responsible, professional service in accordance with local & state liquor laws.

  • Absolutely! Signature cocktails, unity cocktails (a Ties & Toasts exclusive offering), & themed drink menus are a core part of what we do.

Packages, Add-Ons, & Customization Questions

  • Yes. The packages on our website are thoughtfully designed starting points. Custom offerings, enhancements, & combinations are always available upon inquiry.

  • Popular additions include:

    • Toast Master (emcee for toasts).

    • Unity or Love Potion cocktail experiences.

    • Day-of coordination support.

    • “Call Anyone But the Couple” communication handling.

    • Art of Toasting coaching for speakers or anyone giving a toast.

    We’re happy to help you decide what makes the most sense for your event.

  • Yes. Day-of coordination & event support services are available as add-ons & can be tailored to complement your officiating & bartending services.

Booking & Logistics Questions

  • Booking begins with an inquiry through our contact form. Once availability is confirmed & services are selected, a signed agreement & non-refundable deposit secure your date.

  • Final balances are due 14 days prior to the event, unless otherwise specified in your agreement.

  • Yes. Gratuity is not required & but always appreciated. For bartending services, a tip jar will be placed at the bar for your guests to thank our bartenders for great service.

Day-Of Experience Questions

  • Yes. One of the things couples value most about Ties & Toasts is the consistency of care. You’ll work directly with your officiant &/or lead bartender from planning through execution.

  • We handle it. Calm, clear decision-making under pressure is part of our role - so you can stay present, relaxed, & focused on celebrating.
